Despatching parts in the FGS store
Despatch
All the parts in the FGS store are packed into the correct customer bins and quantities as per customer requirement. Customer orders are received electronically. Once an order is received the parts are selected, dock quality checked, strapped and scanned (ASN) before being shipped. The FIFO system is followed and is assisted by the use flow racking. Safety Stock levels are monitored on a daily basis to ensure uninterrupted supply to the customer.
