  • Contributing 1% of NPAT to foundations focused on feeding, educating, and uplifting communities

  • Delivering annual disability learnership programmes to upskill previously disadvantaged individuals

  • Supporting annual youth sports days within our local communities

  • Offering internal and external apprenticeships and skills development programmes to nurture future talent

Training and Development

At L&J, we invest in our people to build technical expertise, leadership, and a strong company culture. Our comprehensive training programs, supported by our dedicated Dojo Training Centre, ensure employees at all levels are empowered to grow and succeed.​

  • Technical Skills & Apprenticeships: Hands-on training in manufacturing, welding, robotics, press operations, and process upskilling

  • Dojo Training Centre: Established in 2022 to host internal programs, inductions, leadership development, and cultural reinforcement aligned with L&J values and ethics

  • Leadership & Management Development: Programs for group leaders, team leaders, and managers to strengthen skills and decision-making

  • Accredited & Expanding Training: MERSETA certification, with upcoming programs in metrology, corrosion, and weathering

  • Continuous Learning & Talent Pipeline: Pre-employment assessments, cross-functional knowledge sharing, and structured development to prepare employees for future roles
